The Gambero Rosso Guide

The Gambero Rosso guide has nominated us as one of the best Japanese restaurants in Milan. Here’s what they say about us:

Raw bricks, vintage beams, and large lamps are the backdrop to the owner’s great passion. He presents a menu full of good ideas, especially on fish and shellfish, definitely top-notch in terms of quality and well-prepared. All the classic dishes are there, even with some slight contamination: countless proposals for sushi and sashimi, carpaccio and tartare, temaki and gunkan, accompanied by very light fried foods.

More imagination in the main courses: suzuki loto style (sea bass in a lotus case with vegetables and ginger sprouts), Chilean black cod baked in miso sauce, shoga yagi (Angus fillet with cherry tomatoes, soy pods, and shiitake mushrooms), tori j style (chicken bites with yellow curry cream, powdered cocoa beans, and mint).

All this can be accompanied not only by one of the wines on the list but also by the valid cocktails prepared in the bar corner. For dessert, mini-high pastry cakes and good artisanal ice cream.
